Required Qualification:
Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
8 years in Onshore oil production, corrosion and inspection operations.
English language: excellent and Computer literate.
Good knowledge of Plant corrosion/Inspection and Company rules and good communications skills
Responsibilities:
Managing and assuring all requirements for Farwah classification & interfacing between class and flag administration Managing and assuring all requirements for onshore inspection & corrosion activities
To assure compliance with Group rules and specifications on integrity, mainly CR EXP 310 and GS EXP 311.
To update Farwah integrity data base whenever required.
Set up and monitor 10 year inspection plan related to Farwah & BD1 integrity
To monitor inspection and maintenance activities in GMS related to Farwah & BD1 integrity and produce monthly report on job completion, backlog status & issue recommendations
Analyze and consolidate reports from contractor inspectors and issue technical reports when necessary
Translate MOO’s inspection policy into inspection plans and programs and ensure follow up To act as focal person on inspection and corrosion matters. To bridge communications with all parties in MOO, Headquarters, and contractors/vendors.
To monitor inspection activities in GMS related to plant inspection and produce monthly report on job completion, backlog status & issue recommendations.
To ensure that Mabruk field corrosion and inspection data base is available and well documented.
Set up and monitor 10 year inspection/corrosion plan.
To conduct regular internal audit related to inspection and corrosion activities as required.
In liaison with process engineers, production engineers, field operation for all corrosion related issues and coordinates action plans.
Translate MOO’s inspection policy into inspection plans and programs and ensure follow up.
Provide assistance to projects whenever required by his hierarchy.
Analyze and consolidate reports from contractor inspectors and issue technical reports when necessary.
Follow up the global shape of the facilities: analyze failures and corrosion trends and issue recommendations.
Follow up all inspection & corrosion monitoring programs and preventive activities.
Analyzes corrosion related failures or problems, conducts or performs studies and proposes or validate solutions.
Follows up corrosion budgets for his sector of activity (consumables, ext analyses or works, ext experts’ interventions etc.)
Implement the applications of safety and environment standards established by the corporate HSE entity.
Promotes the development of group know how by feed back of experience and proposes solutions in case of technical problems related to corrosion and inspection.
Rule out five years corrosion and inspection plan with the budget estimate.
Follow up closely the chemical contract with all related issues.

Follow up contracts relevant to corrosion and inspection.
Compliance to Classification Requirement and validity of Class certificates
Compliance to the company rules and requirement and updated in a yearly base.

Activities · To ensure that all planed MOO drilling operations are thoroughly engineered, programmed, and implemented in safe and efficient manner in compliance with the prescribed requirements and standards.
· To prepare drilling engineering programs, reports and procedures, and ensure that such reports are in accordance with the MOO policy and procedures.
· Prepare the wells’ AFE and contribute to the consolidation of wells’ ITD, prepare and issue corresponding drilling program.
· Prepare in liaison with other drilling sections the standing drilling instructions (SDI) related to the drilling operations.
· Carry out the technical studies for drilling operations, associated with the development program (well trajectory feasibility, drilling hydraulic and BHA design, drill bits, well bore stability, etc) and propose solutions to improve the course of drilling development.
· Maintain the Wellview and the Advise data base, write the drilling sections of the “End of Well Report”, compile the final document, prepare and issue weekly/ monthly /annual reports. · Participate, in collaboration with the drilling superintendent follow-up and assess the performance of the drilling contractors and service companies, analyse their non-productive time (NPT) and provide solutions in view of their improvement.
· Participate to the preparation of drilling services call for tenders, analyse the technical and economical bid and propose recommendation of award and manage corresponding service contracts.
· Anticipate in liaison with drilling superintendent the needs (LLI). · Scout technological novelties (Rotary steerable, etc), assesses their suitability to Company’s operational requirements, evaluate their commercial and technical impact and make recommendations for implementation when advisable.
· Provide input to budget preparation, prepare rig site cost control price book and follow up incurred costs.
· Perform frequent rig site visit and ensure proper implementation of programs, procedures and new techniques.

Ensure exhaustive comprehension and handling of the existing models and their regular up-dates in order to integrate new information and benefit from new simulation techniques (e.g. dual porosity-dual permeability modeling, etc …) mainly black oil. Composition modelling is an advantage.
Validate external studies (PVT, SCAL, model construction, new techniques, etc …) and ensure proper integration of the results into the models..
Provide a direct and close supervision to the reservoir engineers working under his section in order to have them more autonomous. The progress of the related engineers in their discipline will be part of the candidate yearly evaluation
Provide to the Onshore & Offshore Reservoir Development engineers robust and industrial dynamic models allowing them to perform sensitivity cases, development well target optimiza-tion and production optimization.
Provide reserves calculations for the fields operated by MOO, whether at appraisal, develop-ment or production stage. Keep the reserves permanently updated taking into account studies results and production data analysis and prepare annual reserves reporting complying with both NOC and Total formats and defini-tions, and keeping consistency with both systems
