As part of ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and increase production rates, in line with the company’s strategic objectives of supporting the Libyan oil sector and contributing to the enhancement of national production and growth of the local economy, the first meeting of the steering committee for the Early Production Project (EPF) at the Mabruk field was held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in Benghazi. The meeting was attended by the Chairman and members of the Operator Management Committee of Mabruk Oil Operations Company, along with Total Energies managers in Libya, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) management team, and representatives of Schlumberger, the project’s implementing contractor. The meeting addressed the latest developments related to the project, discussing the most prominent challenges facing the implementation phases. It was also agreed to set a date soon for the launch of initial production, with a production capacity of up to 25,000 barrels per day, through the Early Production Facility.
