Corrosion & Inspection Engineer

Position: Corrosion & Inspection Engineer Location: COMPANY HQ at Tripoli Required Qualification:
  1. Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  2. 8 years in Onshore oil production, corrosion and inspection operations.
  3. English language: excellent and Computer literate.
  4. Good knowledge of Plant corrosion/Inspection and Company rules and good communications skills
Responsibilities:
  1. Managing and assuring all requirements for Farwah classification & interfacing between class and flag administration Managing and assuring all requirements for onshore inspection & corrosion activities
  2. To assure compliance with Group rules and specifications on integrity, mainly CR EXP 310 and GS EXP 311.
  3. To update Farwah integrity data base whenever required.
  4. Set up and monitor 10 year inspection plan related to Farwah & BD1 integrity
  5. To monitor inspection and maintenance activities in GMS related to Farwah & BD1 integrity and produce monthly report on job completion, backlog status & issue recommendations
  6. Analyze and consolidate reports from contractor inspectors and issue technical reports when necessary
  7. Translate MOO’s inspection policy into inspection plans and programs and ensure follow up To act as focal person on inspection and corrosion matters. To bridge communications with all parties in MOO, Headquarters, and contractors/vendors.
  8. To monitor inspection activities in GMS related to plant inspection and produce monthly report on job completion, backlog status & issue recommendations.
  9. To ensure that Mabruk field corrosion and inspection data base is available and well documented.
  10. Set up and monitor 10 year inspection/corrosion plan.
  11. To conduct regular internal audit related to inspection and corrosion activities as required.
  12. In liaison with process engineers, production engineers, field operation for all corrosion related issues and coordinates action plans.
  13. Translate MOO’s inspection policy into inspection plans and programs and ensure follow up.
  14. Provide assistance to projects whenever required by his hierarchy.
  15. Analyze and consolidate reports from contractor inspectors and issue technical reports when necessary.
  16. Follow up the global shape of the facilities: analyze failures and corrosion trends and issue recommendations.
  17. Follow up all inspection & corrosion monitoring programs and preventive activities.
  18. Analyzes corrosion related failures or problems, conducts or performs studies and proposes or validate solutions.
  19. Follows up corrosion budgets for his sector of activity (consumables, ext analyses or works, ext experts’ interventions etc.)
  20. Implement the applications of safety and environment standards established by the corporate HSE entity.
  21. Promotes the development of group know how by feed back of experience and proposes solutions in case of technical  problems related to corrosion and inspection.
  22. Rule out five years corrosion and inspection plan with the budget estimate.
  23. Follow up closely the chemical contract with all related issues.
Accountabilities  
  • Follow up contracts relevant to Classification requirement
  • Follow up contracts relevant to corrosion and inspection.
  • Compliance to Classification Requirement and validity of Class certificates
  • Compliance to the company rules and requirement and updated in a yearly base.
  • Ensure inspection & corrosion activities are in line with company philosophy and rules (in particular CR EXP 310 and CS EXP 311).

Medical Coordinator

Position: Medical Coordinator Location: COMPANY HQ at Tripoli Required Qualification & Experience: Education: Professional experience: (Local Doctor)
  • Certification in occupational health
  • Experienced Doctor in emergency medicine (ACLS + ATLS, or CAMU and trained in Catastrophe Medicine)
  • Having practiced for at least 5 years and having experience of medical activity on an isolated site.
  • Knowledge of Libyan regulations for heath, industrial hygiene and labour laws.
  • Good managerial & Administration ability.
Responsibilities;
  1. Manage the Medical Service contract: definition of required services, selection of medical staffs on sites; follow up of contract costs.
  2. Approve and follow up of the requests for medical consumables..
  3. Follow-up of MOO staff medical files , medical examinations ,illness and recovery days certificates
  4. Approve MOO staff medical expenses claims.
  5. Follow up of risk assessment files and associated action plans as per risk assessment file plan
  6. Review, analyse the medical reports from doctors on sites, advise on action plans.
  7. Follow up the fit to work certificates for all MOO and contractors staffs on sites.
  8. Follow the health and Hygiene actions plans as per MOO health management system.
  9. Follow medical evaluation from the field and patient evolution.
  10. Psychological support to MOO affected staffs.
  11. Management of the vaccinations of the MOO personnel
  12. Sanitary education of MOO personnel
  13. In case of infirmary installed in the MOO office, organise it and supervise it with nurse.
  14. Follow-up MOO Medical Insurance program, contract, company requirement (Scope of Work) & related-tendering procedure
  15. Follow-up the employees’ medical expense claims, relevant database, eligibility records & other formalities
  16. Arrange annual medical occupational health visit for the site employees.
  17. Confirm checks done as per company referce procedure (GP).
  18. Follow-up with MOO Tender Committee for the renewal of sites medical services contract (Clinics at sites)
  19. Follow up risk assessment file (RAF) for sites and ensure all actions are implemented,
  20. Follow up legionella disease control actions.
  21. Review and update health and hygiene company reference procedures.
  22. Follow up medical data and ensure no work related sickness
  23. Routine site visits to audit and ensure proper hygiene level at all working sites
  24. Monitor all factors that impact the safety and performance of workers like work place ventilation, temperature, lighting, etc.
  25. Identify hazards, assess risks to health, put appropriate safety controls in place and provide advice about accident prevention.
  26. assist with the investigation of accidents from occupational health point of view, study possible causes and recommend remedial action
  27. Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on health and safety practices.
Accountabilities
  • Conduct a continuous improvement process of the health performances for MOO staffs.
  • Provide the medical support means for sites.

Operation Internal Auditor

Position: Operation Internal Auditor Location: COMPANY HQ at Tripoli Required Qualification:
  • Bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent major.
  • 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • Ability to write reports in English language.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use personal computer and related software, including Microsoft windows, and spreadsheets.
Responsibilities;
  1. Conducts internal audits of the fiscal and administrative procedures in the company to ensure that these procedures comply with the company policies.
  2. Develops a detailed report on each audit and monitors financial activities in the company, including reviewing reports concerning bank reconciliation and trial balances.
  3. Performs related duties as required.
Accountabilities
  • Ensure that company’s methods and procedures are adhered to, guarantee compliance with all aspects of the different contracts.
  • Seek the improvement of the company’s efficiency through the development (or adjustment) of methods and procedures to fit adequately to evolving circumstances.
