Geologist.
Position: Geologist.
Location: COMPANY HQ at Tripoli.
Department: Geology &Geoscience.
Required Qualification & Criteria:
- BSc/MSc in Geology.
- 7-10 yrs. Experience.
- Fluent in the English Language.
- Operation geology, log analysis, sedimentology, seismic interpretation and geomodelling experience.
- Good Communications Skills.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Intent to Drill of wells.
- Contribute to the preparation of Geological Well Report.
- Perform log interpretation of wells just logged and reinterpretation whenever deemed necessary, in order to have a full understanding of the field at any time.
- Participate in carrying out studies, such as petro physical, sediment logical, strati graphical and structural studies
- Carry out appropriate geologic studies needed for the construction of geologic models
- Participate in implementing the geological operations program in coordination with Ops Geology Coordinator to ensure an optimum data acquisition.
- Validate geo models input data
- Carry out light updates of simple 3D remodels
- Report any eventual, technical, and economical adjustments during operations.
- Participate in the promotion and maintenance of high safety standards.
