Annual General Assembly Meeting of Mabruk Oil Operations Company for 2025

The Annual General Assembly Meeting of Mabruk Oil Operations Company was held at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation in Tripoli to approve the financial and technical results for the year 2025, and to review plans aimed to enhance production and improve operational efficiency.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the General Assembly, Eng. Masoud Suleiman, with the participation of Assembly members Dr. Khalifa Abdulsadiq, Mr. Ahmed Ammar, and Mr. Hussein Safar. The attendances on behalf of Mabruk Oil Operations Company were the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Operator, Eng. Adel Abdulla Elkouni, along with members of the Management Committee, the Chairman of the Audit Body, and related department managers.

During the meeting, the General Assembly reviewed key operational indicators for 2025, including improvements in performance across oilfield operations and enhancements in occupational health and safety measures. The review also covered progress in strategic projects aimed at increasing production capacity and advancing the technical infrastructure that supports the company’s operations.

The Chairman of the General Assembly emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to increase production and ensure operational sustainability in support of the national oil sector and the Libyan economy. He praised the achievements of Mabruk Oil Operations Company during the past period and reaffirmed the National Oil Corporation’s commitment to support the company’s future initiatives.

Libya–Africa International Gas Forum 2025 – Tripoli | 6–7 December 2025

As part of national efforts to strengthen Libya’s position as a key player in the regional and international energy market, the National Oil Corporation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Government of National Unity and in partnership with the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), organized the Libya–Africa International Gas Forum 2025 in the capital, Tripoli. The forum brought together a distinguished group of leaders, experts, and decision-makers from around the world.

  • The forum addressed a range of strategic topics reflecting the country’s vision for a more secure and sustainable energy future, including:
  • Mobilizing and directing financing for vital projects in the oil and gas sectors.
  • Developing and expanding infrastructure to enhance regional connectivity and achieve greater operational flexibility.
  • Increasing gas production capacity, supporting exploration, and accelerating the development of oil fields.

Exploring international cooperation opportunities, exchanging expertise, and opening new avenues for investment partnerships.

Mabruk’s Oil Operations Company had a prominent presence among the national participants, with the attendance of:
