Junior Piping & Vessels Engineer

Activities Engineering Activities:
  • Works under the direction of s. Piping Eng. And Eng. Supt
  • Carry out survey and produce blue prints.
  • Use of Autocad to produce drawings, piping and Instruments diagrams and piping Isometrics
  • Review continuously piping specifications and assure its proper use in design.
  • Carry out updating of as built documentation in coordination with Documents section and S. Piping Engineer.
  • Perform initial piping design calculation
  • Keep project files updated and in order
  • Participate in technical reviews of piping drawings (process flow diagram, Piping instrument drawing, general piping, piping arrangement and piping isometrics as appropriate.
  • Liaise with Material specialist to figure out the appropriate piping material to use and its corrosion allowance.
  • Participate to tenders technical evaluation as instructed by S. Piping engineer.
  • Review the adequacy in preparing of all test records; Piping log book, pre & post-test checklists, Pressure test certificates, P&ID’s / Isometric drawings, approved procedures and inspection test plans (ITP), i.e.; welding procedures, NDT, hydro test, Radiography test.
  • Assist the senior engineer for preparing the scope of work for CFT or RFQ packages.
Participate in the provision of PR and its technical documents. Accountabilities   • To cover all aspects related to the discipline sufficiently and punctually. • To report correctly to the superiors issues related to the discipline. • Synthesises Planning/Scheduling elements related to the Dept. Qualifications / experience required Education: B.Sc. in a Mechanical Engineering  level: Minimum good. Computer skills: Professional experience: New Graduate  2016

  • Conduct analysis and review on internal and external salary statistics. Based on the information collected to recommend, develop and implement an appropriate employee compensation structure.
  • Ensure that compensation and bonus programs can compete with other businesses.
  • Conduct job evaluations to determine the value of a position based on the responsibilities of the employee; in order to configure pay grades, determine the pay for the new job, and ongoing reclassification.
  • Create and apply employee incentive plans to maintain and attract talent with the collaboration of Manpower Planning and Recruitment section.
  • Assist in development of company policy and procedures to support the compensation and benefits function.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people of all job levels and personalities.
  • The ability to convey information in legible reports to their human resources and management.
  • Assist Compensation Supervisor with compensation-related issues.
  • Assist in modify and create new job descriptions which reflect current roles, responsibilities and requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Implement MOO policy relative to compensation: e.g., merit increases promotions etc.
  QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  
  • Education: bachelor’s degree, in a field such as human resources, business administration or finance.
  • Advantage Certificates: Common course topics in a human resources bachelor’s degree program include compensation, benefits, Job Analysis. Libyan Labor law.
  • Professional experience: minimum from 8 to 10 years
  • Required Skills/competencies:
  • English: Excellent English Reading, speaking Report writing.
  • Microsoft Office: Advance excel skills, PowerPoint & Presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effectively communication skills both in writing and verbally;
  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters and situations;
  • Negotiation and solving problem skills
  • Time management skills
