Senior Purchasing Specialist

  • Contribute to the issue of the Procurement Planning and help to prioritize the purchasing workload

  • Follow-up, analyze and know the markets, participate to the follow-up, and evaluation of suppliers

  • Contribute to reporting Key Performance Indicators for the purchasing activities of the team

  • Study, compare and evaluate offers in order to have the most economical and contractual advantageous conditions

  • Ensure the follow-up of purchase orders until complete reception and payment

  • Ensure Suppliers’ deliveries on time

  •  Clarify discrepancies between material received and orders, if any with suppliers

  •  Ensure reception of acknowledgement of receipt for PO’s from suppliers

  •  Start the Inquiry & Reply to Venders and End-user Clarification

  •  Prepare Evaluation Table for each New Po.

  •  Issue  Regular reports on the Purchasing

  •  Update Vender List when needed.

  • Follow-up Buyer activities on a daily basis

Professional experience : minimum 5 years experience in the oil company’s.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and maintain the model of the Fixed Asset Register

Collect asset control information

Follow and organize a specific filing for all asset documents

Prepare and Participate to the Fixed Asset inventory

Control the coherence between Asset Register records and the accounts

Participate in the common costs allocation process

Prepare the monthly and yearly reports

Book, follow & reconcile other accounts whenever is needed

Assist in analysis, reconciling the deposit and debtors accounts

Prepare her/him-self as a backup of the Stock accountant whenever is needed

Assist Head of Section for any additional reconciliation related to old transactions

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Contribute to the achievement of the Company’s goals and ensure that Company’s methods and procedures are adhered to.

Improve the Section’s efficiency through the development (or adjustment) of systems and procedures to fit adequately to evolving circumstances.

Guarantee compliance with accounting aspects.

Assist the Head of the Section on all accounting activities related to Assets and Stocks but not only.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Education: Bachelor accounting, fluent spoken and written English language, Strong skills in Excel.

Professional experience: 3 years’ experience in accounting.

Required competencies: Strictness, Well-organized, Team player, Pro-active, Knowledge of INFOR/SUN Systems appreciated.

Libyan nationality.

Junior Budget Analyst.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand/Follow up the process of the Budget and Reporting including the participation in the design of the Budget architecture.

Keep contact with the technical departments regarding the work program and assist/challenge them for the valorization.

Maintain permanent communication with Finance cost controllers to improve quality of valorization, analysis and reports.

Review the commitments/analytical chart of accounts and make sure that the accuracy of information in the financial systems.

Familiarize her/him-self with all the reports required by the owners according to EPSA and specifically prepare the cost recovery reports for the two entities.

Assist the Budget coordinator in monitoring commitments, period closing and accurate analysis including urgent reports needed by Finance manager.

Prepare her/him-self as a backup of the Budget coordinator or Business Asset cost controller (for billing mainly) whenever is needed.
